Canadian rap star Drake has taken a lot of stick recently for being perceived to be a fair-weather football fan.
Having initially declared his loyalty towards Manchester United, but has since been pictured wearing the colours of Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea more recently.
However, after disgraced wrestler Hulk Hogan mistakenly retweeted a picture of Ferdinand and Drake together – by somebody pretending to be the rapper with his father – Ferdinand posted his own repost.
@HulkHogan Everybody says stuff from time to time, don't forget, me and my dad will always have your back brother pic.twitter.com/rtogY2EbOI

Taking to his Instagram account, Ferdinand posted a picture of Drake in the offending kits with the caption: “My son’s would never wear these kits… Their loyal to #MUFC”.
